Talking to the Animals at the Fort Worth Zoo
September 29th, 2007Written by Sandra Larson and Leslie Teal
People often ask, “Can you communicate intuitively with wild or zoo animals? Leslie, an animal communication student, and I visited with the animals at the Fort Worth Zoo. Here is some of the communication the animals shared with us. Often people think all animals hate living in a zoo. Maybe many do, but one mountain goat let us know how he loved living there. Both Leslie and I received that same message from him!
Please note: As you read this, know that Leslie and I had separate conversations with these animals. It was only after we completed the communication session that we shared and compared our notes. Notice how often there is a similar message from the animals to both of us. (Following the conversation is Leslie’s comments on Sandra as an animal communicator and teacher.)
The Owl
Sandra - “Keep the channels clear. We’ve been trying to talk to you. Humans have a lot of interference. The snake and lion have something to say to you. I am a being of light and so are you. We aren’t so different, you know. We just look different.” I asked the owl what his purpose was, “My purpose is to connect with people like you who can really see me. The rest, (of the people) I just send down rays of light to bless them.”
Leslie - Shake off the old vibrations. Keep one eye open when you sleep. I feel so responsible for all of the others. I don’t ever miss a trick. You are on your way - trust your heart. When I asked if there was anything I could do for him, he said: “Pray for me and with me. Stay open to the opportunities”. This owl made eye contact that was felt deep down inside.
The Elephant
Sandra - “Humans want to think they are so special, but we grieve, we are saddened by the passing of our loved ones. We feel joy running, feeling the earth under our feet. I dream about it sometimes. I live a half life here.” I asked what that meant, and he said “I have an arrangement with another soul to merge and be able to live sometimes within that free elephant body. Yes, but soon it may be possible that we won’t have a free brother or sister to run with in the half life.”
Leslie – The Elephant did not want to communicate with me while he was experiencing Sandra’s message. After a while, he was thrilled to share: “She gets me - I’m so happy to share with her! I’d really like to run with her in my dreams!” He was showing off for Sandra by cooling down with water and spraying all over - putting on quite a show!
The Bear
Sandra - You humans think you need so much. We need food, water and our feet to carry us! You need cars, clothes, etc. Simplify your life. Your greedy needs cause us to lose our homes. You invade us. You take us and put us on display for your amusement. I am separated from my family of being. Why did humans do this? I appreciate the food and care, but I want to climb a real tree and hunt for my own food.
Leslie- I’m just putting in time. This is not where I belong. My job is to protect Mother Earth. Every being can do something every day. Before the sun goes down each day, ask what you have done to be kinder to Mother Earth. When I asked what I could do for him, he said “Teach the children about Mother Earth.”
Lion
Sandra - Why did you roar so loud when we approached? “I did it for Leslie! I want her to know she is powerful in the world. She is one of us. Leslie and I have been together before. She can be in the half-life with me. Does she remember the adrenaline of the hunt?” I asked him if she, Leslie was ever a lioness before. He said, “Yes!” (It turned out that Leslie’s power animal was the lion.)
Leslie – “This is MY STAGE and you are MY SUBJECTS! I AM THE KING! When I saw you walk up I wanted to reach you two! I’m not just a party trick. My throat gets sore trying to connect. My message to you is to BE REAL. BE HERE. SPEAK UP. SPEAK BRAVELY. Find your power within and ask for help and don’t be afraid to receive it. LOVE BREATHLESSLY!” When I asked what I could do for him he said, “Have a blessed day. Carry my energy. Be kind and be Strong.” This lion gave us quite a vocal performance. He then used up all of his energy and needed to nap. This is the most beautiful Lion I have ever seen.
Gorilla (This conversation surprised both of us!)
Sandra - When I asked what I could do for him, he said, “You can get the _____ out of my face.” I asked him to explain. He said, “You get to talk and leave. No one pays me for their entertainment purposes.” (At this point I had the sense this gorilla had lived a previous life as a human, actually I believed he was some type of a “mob boss”. He was used to being in control. He did not like being in this ‘cage’ where people could watch him all the time. It really was prison time for him which some might call Karma.)
Leslie - When I asked the Gorilla if he would like to speak with me? He said, “I really don’t give a _____!” I then asked if maybe he had a chip on his shoulder. He said “Wouldn’t you? Just look at this place!” I then asked him if he would share with me what he thinks about. He said, “I’m glad that you care enough to ask what I think. I’m just so bored by these people.” I then asked permission to take his photo and he motioned me forward with two fingers. Then I asked what I could do for him. He said “I need a hug”.
Leslie’s Testimonial:
Sandra is a warm and wonderfully gifted animal communicator. Sandra will help you discover answers if you need help with any animal. She is one of the few trained professionals in this field who will also teach ANYONE her amazing skill of communicating with animals. I participated in Sandra’s Animal Communication Course in Dallas. She will make you comfortable in discovering your own abilities in communicating with all of God’s creatures. I was also fortunate to spend an afternoon learning with her at the Fort Worth Zoo in Texas. This was one of the most enjoyable and amazing days I have ever spent. I am truly blessed for having met her. Leslie, Astorville, Ontario Canada
