The Real Estate Corner
June 19th, 2009Prior to moving to Texas, I enjoyed an eight year career in Wisconsin as a real estate agent. It was my joy to assist people in buying and selling homes. In the summer of 2003, I decided to accomplish my life-long dream of completing my Master’s in Counseling. So, when I moved to Texas I concentrated on growing my Soul Coaching and Animal Communication Practice. My human clients and the animals themselves became powerful Master Teachers for me.
However, in the back of my mind, I remembered how much I enjoyed the real estate process. When I thought about going back to get my license, my ego told me, “If you do this, you might as well say you’ve failed as a Soul Coach and Animal Communicator.” Well, I decide to get my license anyway. I’ve actually found a renewed passion for helping people in real estate. During this time in our economy, I’ve discovered there are a lot of people who would like help with this life transition.
Instead of abandoning my coaching and animal communication practice, I discovered I love doing all of it! As my real estate business has grown, I’ve also gotten busier in my coaching and animal communication practice! Go figure! So many times I think we believe we must either work in the corporate world or have a spiritual practice.
But guess what? We don’t have to choose one or the other! I really believe it is time for us to bring all of who we are to everything we do. So, I choose all of it. These days I let my real estate clients know about my spiritual practice, too! So what do I call myself? Well, I’m a Soul Coaching, Animal Communicating Real Estate Agent and that’s just the way I like it!
