Butterfly Ballet: Act II © brings you into a springtime scene of butterflies dancing around stately Canna flowers. The monarch is so close, you can almost touch it! The soft focused shapes in the background provide a colorful depth of field for the sunlit flowers. The original painting was on exhibit at the San Diego Natural History Museum. This poster is a companion to Butterfly Ballet ©. These two images give me a colorful reminder that each day is a new beginning, a springtime bursting with life all around us, and that we have another day to spread our wings and fly!
