Fall into Your Center - Special

Many of you know me as a Professional Animal Communicator, but did you know I am also an Intuitive Life Coach. I have a Master’s in Counseling, as well as training in Life, Soul, and Past Life Coaching. I’ve studied Soul Retrieval, which is one of my greatest joys to take my clients on Soul Journeys to create their Soul’s Sanctuary, meet their Power Animal, and so many other kinds of enlightening Soul Journeys.   

Lately, the strangest thing has been happening. For many nights in a row, I would go out on my back patio to let my dog Charlie outside to relieve himself, and I would discover a toad sitting there. I got to the point where I almost started expecting he would be there at night. Last Saturday, my landscaper came by to mow my lawn. When I went outside to look for my toad in the evening, I was worried because I thought, oh, no… what if the landscaper ran him over. I started to go back inside the house, but to my amazement, when I looked down at the door jam, in the far corner, there was my toad. That’s when, I really panicked, saying oh, dear, I could have stepped on you. 

Of course, I had to look up the spiritual meaning of a toad. Here’s what I found:

“Transformation, healing, and new beginnings. Toads are deeply rooted in spiritual meaning and symbolism across cultures, representing transformation, healing, and new beginnings. Additionally, they are associated with wealth, luck, fertility, adaptability, protection, and wisdom.”

I also read toads emerge from hibernation in the spring, so it seemed odd to see him on my patio in the fall. As I meditated about its appearance, I felt perhaps he was a Messenger Animal Guide. I did have an outpatient surgery this week that I’ve been looking forward to, and it all turned out very well. So, maybe he had come to me to assist me through this time?

I do believe, we all have help from the Divine at different times in our lives. That help may come as Angels, Guides, Master Teachers and even Animal Guides. Having a sense that they are there, can really help us feel supported and loved through difficult times. There are a four different Animal Guides, which might be helpful for you to know:

1.   An Animal Guide is your Life Animal Guide or Spirit Guide who is usually with you throughout your life, reminding you of your connection with nature and your spirituality. They are like your guardian angels. I have multiple animal guides and am so glad for their presence in my life.

2.   A Messenger Guide quickly comes into your life and then leaves once a message is understood. The message itself can be spiritual in nature, or it can be a warning.  A messenger guide can cause you delays or give you some unforeseen help in your life. 

3.  A Journey Animal Guide appears at the fork in the road of your life. When a decision is made to follow a certain path in life, the Journey Guide is there to serve as a guide along the way. It can be a friendly traveling companion, if the path is right. If you become lost, it will help lead the way back. The Journey Guide remains at your side until the current cycle in your life has changed. 

4. A Shadow Animal Guide is one that invades you with fear. Its purpose is to teach a lesson you have not learned from repeated mistakes because of anger, insecurity, or other negative thoughts. A Shadow Guide will return again and again bearing strong feelings of fear until its message is acted upon, or a change in lifestyle, or actions are incorporated into your life. Some examples maybe a snake, mouse, etc.
